In general, I usually find flats to be a bit boring, at least in comparison to the extensive variety of heels readily available. But this season I’ve been inspired by the new crop of embellished sandals. They’re an ideal complement to just about anything – a pair of white skinnies, a crisp shirtdress, or cut-off shorts. I’ve rounded up twelve of my favorites, ranging from jewel-encrusted sandals to color-blocked, woven slip-ons. They make an impact without much effort, which is why there’s truly no excuse for wearing your rubber flip-flops besides the pool or beach.
