4 Easy Summer Outfit Ideas
Packing for and festival is always an event. Figuring out what to wear that will keep you cool (literally) in the desert heat, and also be stylish, without making you feel like a poster child for Woodstock in 1969, is quite the feat. This year, aside from the fringe, feathers and flowers, I'm expecting to see lots of crop tops, sheer shirts layered over bikini tops, denim short shorts, tons of vintage, and of course, accessories galore. Here's a look at what’s making its way into my duffel bag this year...
A pair of high-waist shorts like these pleated ones are a good pairing if you want to try the crop top trend, but don’t want to bare all. Add a wedge (these from Aldo) for a little height and you've got a super-flattering look.
I love the look of layering necklaces and this week I'm all about this trio: a trippy Third Eye necklace, a painted antique necklace, and a longer tassel necklace.
A great printed skirt is a perfect look for a music festival because you don’t need to add too much to pull it together. This vintage one here is topped off with (another!) crop top, a pair of festival-friendly flats, and then there’s that statement necklace, again!
And onto t-shirts and sneakers. This fun T-shirt rocking with a bold floral skirt, necklace, and comfy-cool pair o sneakers. I like the boy-girl vibe of this look; it feels right for a music festival!
Are you going to any festivals this summer? What do you think of my packing list?
