Pan-fried Goat Cheese Bites

Prep Time: 10 mins
Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients:

1 x 80 gram slice of goat cheese for one ball {8 cm across 2 cm deep}
1 Tbs Flour
1 Egg Beaten
50 grams of bread crumbs

Directions:

{Slice your 8 cm by 2 cm pieces of cheese. Be sure to use a very sharp nice }

{Wipe the knife off with a warm, wet paper towel in between cuts.}

{your slice may crumble a little. If it does, don’t fret. It’s cheese, after all: Just smooth it into a rough round shape and keep going.}

{Cover goat cheese ball in flour.}

{Dip in egg.}

 {Roll in bread crumbs.}

Fry the cheese

{Sigh. Those words just make me happy.} Pour your olive oil in a nonstick pan. Use just enough to coat the bottom of the pan. Set it on the stove over high heat. When the oil shimmers, you’re ready to fry. Place goat cheese balls in pan and cook until golden brown.

{Enjoy!}

P.S. Pair with toasted baguette and a sweet bruschetta sauce on top! Drool.
