Nectarine and Blackberry Galette

I slipped out to the farmers' market on Sunday like I always do, but made sure to be in my car by 9 am to avoid the oppressive heat that's suddenly descended upon the city as I quickly made my way around the booths, I stocked up on yellow nectarines and plump blackberries, unsure of what I would make with them. After a bit of research, I decided to put them into a rustic tart, one that felt homemade and not fussy. For those that are too intimidated to attempt an entire pie, this recipe will yield perfectly imperfect results; exactly how a summer dessert should be.
